We opened up our racing this week-end at VIR with the SCCA North Carolina Region. This race was a double race week-end for our GTA Late Model. We eeked out a win in Saturday's race as our clutch gave out near the end, but a wins a win. In the Sunday race we had to start from the rear since the clutch couldn't be repaired in our 19 Late Model, and we wound up running the back-up car Ron Fariss brought. I'd never driven Ron's car, but he's taught me to appreceate a free car and that thing was free. We managed to win the Inaugural TCPIS at VIR. What a week-end it was. Thanks to our help. Ron, Caleb, and Andy worked tirelessly to keep me racing. We'll be taking Caleb's Limited Car to Hickory for first race the 23rd. Motor Mile starts up the 31st. Hope for good weather and a good race.
